Zach is the Founder of Compass Equity Solutions and serves as President at IndustryPro, a national M&A advisory firm.

Drawing on his experience advising business owners and private equity groups in the lower middle market, Zach built Compass to extend IndustryPro’s proven process and insights to clients seeking valuation, succession, and exit planning support. Through this dual role, he ensures Compass clients benefit from the depth, relationships, and resources of IndustryPro’s advisory network.

Zach’s work with private equity clients gave him insight into the characteristics of businesses that receive the highest valuations. His work with business owners – whose companies ranged in revenue from $5M to $200M+ – provided insight into the way that owners must adapt their operations as they scale.

While at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Zach advised the executive teams of some of the largest companies in the world as they sought to turn around their businesses and boost their profitability.

His diverse experience spans many industries and includes leading corporate development efforts, helping executives reach historic levels of profitability, partnering with executives to turn around their struggling companies, organization redesign, salesforce optimization, and pricing.

Zach holds a Bachelor’s degree from BYU and an MBA from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business where he was awarded a full-tuition merit-based scholarship.

Zach and his wife live with their four children and their dog in the Greater Atlanta area.
